Consecrated Life is a special way of following Jesus. Those who choose it seek to live like Him. Therefore, they make three important promises: to live with simplicity (poverty), to dedicate themselves to God and others without forming their own family (chastity), and to be available for the mission entrusted to them (obedience).
It can be lived in religious communities, in the midst of the world, in solitude, or with newer styles, all recognized by the Church.
Beyond names or structures, those who choose this way of life respond to a specific and profound calling that is expressed, above all, in three ways of being in the world.
